The High Line, the elevated greenway and former rail line in Chelsea, is looking for local food vendors for the 2011 season.  Friends of the High Line, stewards of the converted rail, recently released a request for proposal for five mobile food units offering high-quality, affordable food that is seasonal and sourced from sustainable farmers, ranchers and purveyors in the region.   The chosen concessionaires will service the High Line for a 10-month term with a one-year renewal option.  Proposals are due April 14.
