Today’s print edition of the Wall Street Journal reported that some of Brooklyn’s most popular restaurants and food purveyors are setting up shop this summer on the boardwalk of Rockaway Beach.  Among them are Roberta’s and the Meat Hook, two well-known Brooklyn establishments that teamed up with a former Savoy chef to open Rippers, an eatery that “will serve creative takes on hamburgers and hot dogs,” reported the Journal.  Other Brooklyn food businesses participating in the summer fun are Babycakes NYC, a vegan bakery based in Williamsburg; Blue Bottle Coffee and Caracas Arepa Bar, which both have Williamsburg locations; and Motorboat & the Big Banana, an offshoot of the restaurant Vinegar Hill House.
